The 100-page Bears Ears Loops PRINT guidebook - available to Bikepacking Roots members with a $25 donation to support continued route development, maintenance, and advocacy. The PDF route guide includes overview maps and elevation profiles for each segment, land management maps, extensive trip planning information, detailed mileage information about water, resupply locations, camping, and more. There are also chapters on the cultural history of the region, Bears Ears National Monument, and the geophysical and biological landscapes of the Colorado Plateau.


The print version also includes download access for both PDF and ePub e-book formats, as well as the most up-to-date GPS track files and the full set of ~400 waypoints for the route. These waypoints include water sources (and the reliability of those sources), campgrounds, resupply locations, communities, bike shops, lodging options, hardware stores, public libraries, post offices, and more.
